As our members in 'small groups', (Ladies choir and Socci Cantorum) will know, we had to say goodbye to the wonderful Amy Chang this summer. Amy was our accompanist in small groups for a number of years, and although we are sad to see her go, we wish her great luck at university, and thank her for all her fabulous work!
We are delighted to announce that Yang Guo (featured to the right) has kindly agreed to join us in Amy's place. Those eagle eyed members might recognise him from our most recent concert, where he helped us do some filming. Yang has been playing piano since he was seven, and has a love for all kinds of music including Rachmaninoff. He is also currently doing a PhD in philosophy, so we will doubtless learn a thing or two! We look forward to getting to know him more, and to giving him a big SingSoc welcome in our first rehearsal on Monday the 28th. You can see a bit more info on our 'accompanists' page here.
